There becomes a time in a young person’s life when they find themselves dealing with many demands and challenges, trying to discover where they fit in, dealing with internal and external expectations. All of which can result in the young person feeling lost, stuck or experiencing difficulties with their emotions and wellbeing, which at times can become overwhelming.
I have worked with many families and young people who are struggling to maintain their wellbeing, receiving positive feedback when positive outcomes have been achieved to manage their Health and wellbeing.
I support young people from 6 years of age onwards to thrive and develop skills that will last them for life. My support enables young people along with their families to build resilience to achieve positive outcomes to support their health and wellbeing.
I have been successfully supporting young people and families using coaching strategies, which is informed by Neuro Linguistic Programming NLP, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy DBT and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy CBT, to develop effective, long lasting coping skills. By using these tools this has enabled me to support young people to address their issues and support their wellbeing, also to develop positive relationships which are an essential life skill
